How we are funded

The group is entirely responsible for raising all its own funding and do not use any pressurised techniques. We are hugely grateful to our completely voluntary and totally amazing fundraising team.

Our annual running expenses for the Centre, including feeding the ponies, amount to about £100,000 and this does not include repairs to fencing, stables and costly vet fees to keep our ponies in excellent health. Any capital expenditure on improvements and additions is on top of this figure.

Our own major fundraising efforts are the Annual Ball at Tewin Bury Farm, Dogs & Daffs Fun Dog Show and Walk at Hatfield House, Barn Dance and Race Nights along with  Summer and Christmas Open Days at the Yard . We rely on donations to make up the balance. We are always delighted to receive any new suggestions for fundraising and help running events too.
