Digswell Place Group RDA is very grateful for an extremely generous donation from the Hornbeams Society which has enabled us to replace 10 stables which were nearly 50 years old with brand new stables from Prime Stables.

All the groundworks were completed by A. Veasey and the design of the new stables was customised to provide natural light, increased shelter, substantially better guttering, and level entrances; which all make the stables more accessible and comfortable for ponies, helpers and riders.

We have also been able to modernise the toilet into a fully functional disabled facility as well as improve the drainage on the yard.
This has been a mammoth project and it would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our absolutely amazing volunteers and maintenance team who gave up so much time to help though out project.

The new stables were officially opened on 22nd October 2015 by the Hornbeams Society.
